JAPFA4Kids, the CSR program began by Japfa Comfeed Indonesia in 2008 has won the Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards in the Health Promotion Category for 2017. The program has gone through a rigorous selection process by the award’s committee that includes audit verification.
Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards (AREA) recognizes and honours Asian businesses for championing sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship in the following categories: Social Empowerment, Investment in People, Health Promotion, Green Leadership, SME CSR, and Responsible Business Leadership. The award emphasises on program innovation, solution, sustainability, integration and impact. JAPFA4Kids has been selected for promoting awareness in balanced childhood nutrition which is an urgent issue in many parts of the world. JAPFA4Kids has also been recognized for creating a school management system for improving school hygiene and learning environment.
The award ceremony took place in Bangkok on 1st June, 2017 with participating Asian companies from India, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong Philippines and Japan.
