Japfa has received the Best Sustainability-Linked Loan – Agriculture award at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Finance Awards 2026.
The award recognizes Japfa’s US$150 million sustainability-linked loan (SLL), facilitated by DBS and Rabobank as joint sustainability coordinators. The loan is tied to KPIs spanning environmental and social goals, from water recycling and coal phase-out to improving access to nutrition through the Japfa For Kids programme, marking the first time Japfa has included social KPIs in a sustainable financial instrument.
This achievement reflects Japfa’s ongoing commitment to enabling food security while advancing sustainability across the value chain.
